What is used in food: racemate or L-isomer?

If we removed everything that some people are allergic to then we wouldn’t be allowed to eat anything.

This crap should not be in our foods. I’m so careful with what I feed my kids and rarely give them medicines unless indicated but thanks to the FDA lax restrictions, my 11 year old has developed a practically anaphylactic reaction to propylene glycol. If it doesn’t need to be in our food/medicine take it out!
